A toy firearm comprises both a slide housing (1) for strips (M) of explosive caps and having a trigger-operated percussion mechanism (14), and a compressed air operated discharge section (3) for firing projectiles (P). An articulated trigger (7) is designed to actuate the cap percussion mechanism (14) and simultaneously to actuate the discharge mechanism for the projectiles. Section 3 is cocked by manually moving cylinder 16 and piston 26 in direction f16, the piston being held by catch 34/36, and then by moving the cylinder back to the illustrated position, thus loading a projectile P1 into barrel 20. A safety device 16B/46A prevents firing until the cylinder has been moved back to the illustrated position. <IMAGE> |
