<p>Injection motor control method comprises a function for prventing overheating which prior to execution of an injection moulding cycle in new set conditions, judges whether or not the integral value of heat produced by drive current in the motor over one injection moulding cycle will exceed the permissible integral value of heat generated as the result of continuous flow of rated current and produces an alarm if it does. The possibility of overheating is judged by comparing a preset permissible ratio and a ratio calculated using values of the set pressure holding times and pressures that are to be held in different stages, pressure produced during maximum motor torque output, cooling time and minimum dry cycle time.</p> |
