An arrangement for fixing an object to a mast consists of an elongate support 2 in the form of a suitably U-shaped beam, which has two guides 11 which each have two bent clamping members 14, 16 which are located one above the other and grip around the mast resiliently. The object, such as a Christmas star, is fastened to the upper part of the support and a cable 10 for power supply to light bulbs 9 is guided down through the support. A traction rope is guided over a guide roller at the upper end of the mast and one of its parts is fastened to the upper part of the support and passes through a guide such as an eye at the lower end of the support while the other part of the rope can hang down freely. Fixing is effected by both rope parts being locked, after movement of the object has been carried out, but can be supplemented by remote-controlled clamping or locking of the object in the upper part of the mast. Such clamping or locking can be brought about by means of an electromagnet supplied with power by the cable 10. The clamping members end in portions 14', 16' which have a radius which only slightly exceeds the radius of the thinner part of the mast and have such an extent that they function as hooks. <IMAGE> |
