PURPOSE:To prevent the setting of a photosensitive substance in microcapsules by light reflected from the surface of a support supporting the microcapsules by forming the surface of the support with a material absorbing light to which the photosensitive substance in the capsules is sensitive. CONSTITUTION:A light absorbing layer 3a and a layer of microcapsules 5 are laminated on the surface of a support 3. Each of the capsules 5 is composed of a shell 5a and a liq. core 5b contg. a dye precursor which reacts with a developer to develop a color and a photosetting substance sensitive to visible light, e.g., a photopolymerizable resin. The layer 3a is formed by dissolving or dispersing a material absorbing light to which the photosetting substance in the capsules 5 is sensitive, e.g., carbon black in a binder, and by applying the resulting soln. or dispersion liq. By this structure, the reflection of light from the layer 3a is inhibited, so the capsules 5 are exposed only to direct light from a light source and an image having clear outlines is obtd. |
