PURPOSE:To obtain an extremely easy-to-use camera by changing the specification of a motor-driven camera with an automatic rewinding function into a camera which does not perform automatic rewinding operation. CONSTITUTION:When a rewinding control circuit 630 receives an all-film-frame winding completion signal, a normal motor control circuit 620 drives a 1st motor M1 for rewinding to rewind a film automatically. Namely, information indicating whether the automatic rewinding is allowed or not is stored in a data-rewritable nonvolatile memory EEPROM provided to a memory means M. Then data which allows the automatic rewinding is selected, the circuit 620 rotates the 1st motor M1 in a rewinding direction to perform the automatic rewinding, but when data which inhibits the automatic rewinding is selected, a 2nd motor M2 and a film winding driving mechanism 400 are disconnected from each other and the automatic rewinding of the film is not performed. Thus, the memory means is merely provided to change the specification.
