PURPOSE:To generate an information file by compressing data in response to the attribute of information, adding a data representing the attributer of the information and storing the result as a control file thereby applying conversion processing, edit and processing to information such as lots of pictures voice and characters. CONSTITUTION:The inputted information such as picture, voice and characters is subjected to conversion processing in response to the attribute to generate a data file given with the data form, attribute and data length and stored in a 1st storage means 3. The information stored in the 1st storage means 3 is subjected to edit processing to a prescribed file form by an edition means 4 and subjected to generated to generation of procedure for reproduction. A repro ducing means 6 is used in the process of edition/processing and each information edited by using the information and data stored in the 1st or 2nd storage means 3, 5 is converted correctly and whether or not each information is generated or reproduced correctly according to the predetermined reproduction procedure is confirmed. The information and data finished for edition and processing are stored in a 3rd storage means 7 for final check and the result is outputted externally by an output means 8.
