<p>PURPOSE:To annex a character modifying data annexed to a head character of each search character-string retrieved at the time of a search replace processing, to each character of a replace character-string, by providing a character modifying data substitute control means. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a search replace processing, when a character modifying data is annexed to a head character of each search character-string based on a data of a text memory, a processing is executed through a character modifying data substitute control means. That is to say, by the character modifying data substitute control means, its annexed character modifying data is stored in the text memory in relation to each character data of a replace character-string to be substituted. In such a way, a control program of a search replace processing control is simplified and a processing speed of a search replace processing can be increased. Also, even when the number of characters of the replace character-string is more than the number of characters of the search character-string, the character modifying data is added to each character data of the replace character-string, it is unnecessary to executed a character modification processing again, and the operability and the work efficiency can be improved.</p> |
