<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the rate of scatter of the area of each picture element forming part, by setting the area of each picture element forming part of an optical shutter to be greater than the area of each dot pattern corresponding to each picture element forming part focused on a photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The area of each picture element forming part 12 of an optical shutter 11 is larger than the area of each dot pattern 14 corresponding to each picture element forming part 12 focused on a photosensitive material 13. Each of the picture element forming part 12 is made transmitting or nontransmitting according to image information to be recorded. Light emitted from a light source is projected on the optical shutter 11, is transmitted through the transmitting ones of the picture element forming parts 12, and is transmitted through a lens system and a light guide 15, whereby it is focused on the photosensitive material 13 as dot patterns arranged in a row and having a predetermined size. The size of each of the dot patterns 14 is smaller than the size of the picture element forming parts 12. Namely, the light incident on the picture element forming parts 12 is focused on the material 13 while being contracted by the lens system and the light guide 15.</p> |
