PURPOSE:To destaticize electrostatic charge with high resolution by using a transmission type electrochromic display element, where plural segments or dots are arranged, and back light as light emitting means which selectively removes the electrostatic charge on the surface of a photosensitive body and constituting segments or dots at a very fine pitch. CONSTITUTION:A transmission type electrochromic display element 70 where plural segments or dots are arranged and back lights 82a-82d constitute light emitting means, and the light of back lights 82a-82d is selectively transmitted to a photosensitive body by the transmission-type electrochromic display element 70 to destaticize the electrostatic charge. Plural segments or dots which selectively allows the light of back light beams 82a-82d to pass through or intercept this light can be arranged in the transmission type electrochromic display element 70 at a pitch finer than the arrangement pitch of a conventional light emitting diode, and the resolution of an area to be destaticized is improved. |
