PURPOSE:To improve the heat and light resistances by incorporating a specified cyan coupler and diffusion resistant carboxylic acids developing no color. CONSTITUTION:A cyan coupler represented by formula I and diffusion resistant carboxylic acids developing no color are incorporated into at least one layer of a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having a multilayered structure including at least one silver halide emulsion layer on the supporting body. In the formula I, Q is a group of atoms required to form a >= 5-membered hetero ring contg. at least one N atom., Z is H atom. or a group releasable during a coupling reaction with the oxidized product of an arom. prim. amine color developing agent, R1 is -CO-X1-R4 or -SO2-X1-R4, X1 is -O-, -NR5- or a simple bond, each of R2 and R5 is H atom., an aliphat. or alicyclic group and R4 is an aliphat. or alicyclic group, an arom. group or a heterocyclic group. When the resulting sensitive material is used, a cyan image having superior heat and light resistances can be formed. |
