PURPOSE:To exactly align the width center of baggage and the load-carrying platform center by providing a moving type sensor for detecting the baggage width and a stop position display device on a fixed station, and providing a stop position detector and a stop control unit on an unmanned carrying base. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 7A is driven in the direction as indicated with an arrow A, a moving type sensor 2 and a stop position display means 3 both move horizontally. Subsequently, they reach a position where a moving extent of a chain becomes 1/2 because a radial ratio of chain sprockets 7D, 7E is 1/2. Next, when the motor is driven to rotate in the direction as indicated with an arrow B, and the end part of a baggage 6 is detected by a sensing part 2B of the sensor 2, the motor 7 stops. That is, a stop position display plate 3C stops at the width center of the baggage 6. Existence of the display plate 3C is detected by a detector 5A positioned at the load-carrying platform center of an unmanned carrying truck 5. The truck 5 which has been running at a constant speed along a guidance line 4 is stopped by a brake signal generated from a control unit 5B. That is to say, the truck 5 stops at a spot where the width center of the baggage 6 and the center of a roller conveyor 5C have conformed with each other.
