PURPOSE:To perform a bending having excellent external appearance and to simplify a mechanical operation by forming a metal plate with its pressurizing by a large diameter roller made of a synthetic resin equipped with a recessed bar and a small diameter roller made of a metal coming into contact with the large diameter roller at the peripheral face. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate is fitted between the large diameter roller member 8 of a bending process machine 6 and a small diameter roller member 9 from the end part 1a of a metal plate 1. A crest-shaped forming can be performed in the thickness direction along the feeding direction by giving the contact pressure between the larger diameter and small diameter rollers 8, 9 via a main driving source 15 and pressurizing mechanism 37 to the metal plate, with the device of this composition the forming excellent in the shape can easily be performed.
