Titled compounds (I), 17,21-diacylate of 9α-fluoro-or-chloro17,21- dihydroxy-corticosteroid or 17-acylate of 9α -fluoro-orchloro-17 hydroxy-corticosteroid, are prepared by treating compound (II) with HCl or HF, excess amount in organic solvent or water, at -60--20≦̸C. In formulas, Y is chloro or OR1; R1 and R2 are C2-6 acyl or benzyl; R3 is α-or β-methyl or fluoro; X is chloro or fluoro; dashed line means (un)saturated bonding.
