<p>Alloys are highly resistant to corrosion and wear and consist of 5 - 70%, and pref. 15 - 30%, titanium mixed carbide having pref. 70% titanium carbide and 30% chromium carbide, the balance being nickel alloy with 10.5 - 20.0 Cr, 0 - 5.5 Fe, 10 - 20 Mo, 0 - 8 W, 0 - 1.5 Cu, and 1% Mn, 0.03% C and 0.03% Si, balance nickel. The alloy is useful in reactor parts acted on by liquid sodium.</p> |
