PURPOSE:To improve an operability and to execute rapidly a registration processing or a deletion processing by storing a word the nearest to the instruction element of an output means in a user dictionary at the time of receiving a registration command and deleting a word the nearest to the instruction element of the output means from the user dictionary at the time of receiving a deletion command. CONSTITUTION:When the registration command is received from an input means, the word the nearest to the instruction element of the output means of the words outputted to an output medium from a registration control means is stored in the user dictionary. When the deletion command is received from the input means, the word the nearest to the instruction means element of the output means of the words outputted to the output medium from a deletion control means is deleted from the user dictionary. Thereby, after the cursor is moved or after a printing head is moved, the word registration processing and the word delection processing can be easily carried to without instructing the word to be registered or the word to be deleted from the user dictionary by a cursor or a printing head.
