PURPOSE:To obtain an electromagnetic treating material which can serve to activate air, various gases, water, various oils, etc., and to facilitate the flow of an electric current in various electrical appliances etc., by incorporating magnetite into a molten rubber or synthetic resin, and forming this mixture into a tape or a plate. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic treating material obtained by incorporating magnetite into a molten rubber or synthetic resin and forming this mixture into a tape or a plate. This material can serve to activate air, various gases, water, oils, etc. to increase combustion efficiency, to facilitate the flow of an electric current in electrical appliances etc., to prevent the decay of water, and to maintain the freshness of foods, etc. When used for, e.g., a gasoline engine, a plate of this material may be attached to the inside of a fuel tank to be in contact with gasoline, or a tape of this material may be wrapped around, e.g., an air nozzle to effect electromagnetic treatment of air. When applied to, e.g., electrical appliances etc., a tape of this material may be wrapped around a power cord, or a plate of this material may be attached to a switchboard, so that the object can be achieved.
