PURPOSE:To enhance the operating efficiency of the title apparatus, by a method wherein weighing means are provided to each of hoppers when a set amount of articles to be weighed such as foods indivisually varied in its wt. to discharge a set amount of said article from each of the hoppers. CONSTITUTION:A combination weighing apparatus is constituted of a mechanical part 30 and a control apparatus 40 and, at each time when articles to be weighed are received in each of weighing hoppers 32, the weighed value signal from each of weighing means 33 immediately before said articles to be weighed are received is stored in a weighed value memory means 41 by each of the memory setting control means 42 in the weighing apparatus. Next, on the basis of the value obtained by subtracting the memory value of the means 42 from that of the means 41, the wt. value or number value of the articles to be weighed received in each of receiving chambers 31 is calculated and the wt. or number of the articles to be weighed in each receiving chamber 31 is set by a weight value operation means 43 and the articles to be weighed are sent out from the control apparatus 40 toward the mechanism part 30 by a discharge control means 45. By this method, a set amount of the articles to be weighed are received in the hopper 32 and allowed to fall in a bag using a discharge means 34.
