PURPOSE:To incorporate the software of a new slip output specification even by a person sxcept a programmer by providing a step for registering the document definition file as the file of a computer system, and describing the individual slip output specification in the slip definition file. CONSTITUTION:The slip definition file 51 is formed based on the slip output specification by a screen editor 52. The file 51 is registered as the file operating system 50 of the computer system 1 and slip data is formed on a data file 54 according to a slip data storing program 56. A slip output execution program 53 reads and refers to the slip definition file 51 and the data file 54, thereby the slip is outputted by printer 55.
