PURPOSE:To improve the preservation life of an organic high polymer material used as an active substance of an electrode, by separating an electrolyte and the other elements composing the cell so as to prevent the contact of the electrolyte and the high polymer active substance. CONSTITUTION:To a positive electrode active substance 17 and a negative electrode active substance 27 which are opposed each other through a separator 19, collectors 13 and 23 installed at terminal metallic wires respectively are contacted, the outsides of both the active substances are covered by flexible armoring films 11 and 21 respectively, and between both the active substances 17 and 27, no electrolyte solution is filled. A cell main body 31 and an electrolyte chamber 35 are cut off by a sealing gate 33. The electrolyte 37 in the electrolyte chamber 35 is prevented from flowing in the cell main body 31, and the electrode active substances and the electrolyte never contact while the cell is stored. By storing the electrolyte and the electrode active substances separated from each other in such a way, and contacting them when the cell is used, the preservation life of the cell can be improved. |
