PURPOSE:To perform the continuous welding by the MIG welding by fitting permanent backing material with the same shape as that of a hollow part of hollow sections with different shape to the butt part inside of the hollow sections with different shape to perform the welding. CONSTITUTION:The permanent backing material 4 with the same outward shape as the shape of the hollow part of the hollow sections 2 with different shape is fitted to both sections at the mutual butt part of the hollow sections 2 with different shape. Next, the butt part is subjected to edge preparation with a minimum radius of the hollow sections 2 with different shape as a reference to MIG-weld a groove part. In this way, the continuous welding by the MIG welding can be performed and the welding speed is improved and the efficiency of the welding work is improved.
