PURPOSE:To improve the critical current value of the low magnetic field by laminating a plate-shaped body made of a superconductive material formed withe many holes or slits and a plate-shaped body made of a high-resistance metal, winding them into a spiral shape, then arranging a tube body made of a high-resistance metal around it, and applying the cross section reduction machining. CONSTITUTION:A Ni-Ti alloy sheet 3 formed with many holes 2 and a Cu-Ni alloy sheet 4 are prepared, and they are laminated and wound into a spiral shape. It is stored in a Cu-Ni alloy pipe 5, swaging machining is shape. It is stored in a Cu-Ni alloy pipe 5, swaging machining is applied, subsequently cold extension machining, heat treatment, and cold extension machining are applied to mold it into a wire rod having a preset shape, then insulation processing is performed. In this machining process, holes 2 of the Nb-Ti alloy sheet are filled with a Cu-Ni alloy, as a result many Nb-Ti element wires are arranged in a Cu-Ni alloy matrix,and the wire rods having such a structure that these element wires are bridged with the Nb-Ti alloy are obtained. Accordingly, the current distribution in a conductor is unified quickly and easily, and the low-magnetic field characteristic is improved.
