PURPOSE:To make the setting and movement of an artificial islet easier by a method in which a number of artificial fish banks are formed by vertically thrusting a platform having a buoyancy and by providing a float having an easily controllable buoyancy for the lower end, and the artificial fish banks are attached in a vertically movable manner to the seabed. CONSTITUTION:A platform 2 having a buoyancy is fixed with three legs 3 to the foundation 13, and artificial fish banks 5 thrusting the platform 2 and having a float 4 on its lower end, together with a winch 9 to vertically move the banks 5 and an air supplying mechanism 11 to send compressed air to the float 4, are set on the platform 2. Air is supplied to the float 4 to vertically move the banks 5 so that many kinds of organisms can grow over all water depths from the bottom 6 under water to the water surface. In moving the device, the legs 3 and the banks 5 are raised and the platform 2 is towed by tug boat, etc., on the surface of water. The artificial islet can thus be easily set and moved.
