PURPOSE:To execute the temp. control of charged material in a furnace in vertical and horizontal circumferential directions at the same time by arranging preheated gas blowing nozzle on a shaft part at inclined angle larger than angle of repose for the charged material. CONSTITUTION:Plural preheated gas blowing nozzles 2 are arranged at one step or plural steps on the furnace wall 1 of shaft part in the oxygen blast furnace at inclined angle larger than the angle of repose for the charged material. The preheated gas is blown in the furnace from this nozzles 2 divided into each height and direction while changing gas quantity and gas temp. In this way, the stable operation for a long period under low fuel ratio without generation of trouble can be executed.
