PURPOSE:To improve the maneuverability of the titled device by controlling a motor by a signal outputted from a manual operation part, and when a focus position of a focusing lens system is located near its focus, restricting the speed of the motor to a prescribed speed or less based on output signal from a judges means. CONSTITUTION:The device has a range finding means 1, the menual operation part 2, the judging means 3, a control means 4, and the mother 5 to measures a distance by the means 1 and drive the focusing lens system by the motor 5. The judging means 3 judges whether the focusing position of the focusing lens system is near the focus or not based on an output signal from the range finding means 1 and the control means 4 controls the motor 5 based on a signal outputted from the manual operation part 2, and when the focus position of the focusing lens system in near the focus, restricts the speed of the motor 5 to the prescribed speed or less. Consequently, focusing can be easily executed and the maneuverability can be improved. |
