<p>PURPOSE:To improve the detecting accuracy of a write protector piece, by bringing a detecting piece into contact with the side of a cartridge magnetic tape and the write protector piece, and detecting a difference between both detecting pieces. CONSTITUTION:When the write of the cartridge magnetic tape 30 is prohibited, the recessed part 31b of the write protector piece 31 is set its face up, and the detecting piece 2c of an arm 2 is brought into contact with the recessed part 31b. Also, the detecting piece 3c of an arm 3 is brought into contact with the side 30a of the tape 30. No sensor 8 is operated in such state. Next, when the write of the tape is permitted, a projecting part 31a is set its face up, and the detecting piece 2c is brought into contact with the the projecting part 31a. Therefore, a relative position between the detecting piece 2c and the detecting piece 3c is varied, and the arm 2 presses the operating piece of the sensor 8, then, operates it. In such way, it is possible to improve the detecting accuracy of the write protector piece in spite of the size tolerance of a device.</p> |
