PURPOSE:To obtain an earthen image resembling an actual object at a low cost by forming the earthen image to nearly the same shape as the shape of a photograph during the course of molding the earthen image, then coating a photosensitive emulsion on the earthen image and printing the photograph thereto. CONSTITUTION:The earthen image 1 of a required size is formed on a plate A so as to resemble the actual photograph of a person, object, scene, etc., by using paper clay, gypsum etc. The surface of such sarthen image 1 is waterproofed. Metal powder or gold foil 2 is adhered onto the same arbitrary colors are coated thereon and the photosensitive emulsion 3 is coated thereon. The photograph of the same size as the size of the earthen image 1 is directly printed thereon so as to coincide with the eyes, mouth, nose, object, scene, etc., of the earthen image 1 and a transparent resin 4 is coated on the surface. The operations from the coating of the photosensitive agent till the drying, enlarging, developing and fixing are carried out in a dark room. The more luxurious finishing than with the conventional photograph and metal image is thereby permitted. Finishing to the skin color is of course possible in the case of the person. In addition, the colors of the object and scene are producible by spraying of color powders or by the colors of the paints to be coated. |
