PURPOSE:To travel a conveying vehicle according to a predetermined schedule by detecting the excited state of the stator of a linear motor by excitation detecting means, and applying its detection signal to data correcting means. CONSTITUTION:When a conveying vehicle 5 travels in a direction of an arrow A, travel data received by excitation controllers 32b-32d of control zones where the vehicle has already passed and detection data of excitation detectors 41b-41d are applied to the controllers 32a-32c of the control zones where the vehicle will travel from now. When the vehicle 5 advances, on the contrary, in a direction of an arrow B, travel data received by the controllers 32a-32c of the control zones where the vehicle has already passed and detection data of the detectors 41a-41c are applied to the controllers 32b-32d of the control zones where the vehicle will travel from now. Thus, even if any of stators 7a-7d is not normally excited, the vehicle can travel according to a predetermined schedule. |
