PURPOSE:To easily and surely execute potting or marking on a fine member by constituting an optical fiber of a cylindrical core forming a hollow hole on its central part and a cylindrical clad consisting of a medium having a refractive index lower than that of a medium constituting the core and formed concentrically with the core. CONSTITUTION:The hollow hole 2 is formed on the central part of the cylindrical core 1 consisting of transparent glass or the like and the cylindrical clad 4 consisting of the medium having the refractive index lower than that of the medium of the core 1 is tightly stuck to the outer circumference of the core 1. In addition, a cylindrical clad 4 consisting of the medium having the refractive index lower than that of the medium of the core 1 is stuck to the inside of the core 1. A hermetic coat 5 is applied to the surface of the inwall of the inside clad 4. Thereby, liquid resin pressed into the fine hollow hole 2 is dropped from the other end and immediately cured by light heat or ultraviolet rays of light made incident on the optical fiber and transmitted. Thus, potting or marking can be attained by the fine cured resin. |
