PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for antirust treatment while to remove machining distortion, by forming a blue-system antirust oxidized film on the backing metal surface of a backing metalprovided aluminum alloy bearing formed by coating the upper of a cold rolled steel plate with an aluminum bearing alloy. CONSTITUTION:A backing metal-provided aluminum alloy bearing is formed by coating the upper of a cold rolled steel plate with an aluminum bearing alloy which contains 1.0-20% by volume one kind or more selected from Sn, Pb, etc. in aluminum, and the backing metal-provided aluminum alloy bearing forms on its backing metal surface a blue-system antirust oxidized film. Concretely in the process of manufacturing the backing metal-provided aluminum alloy bearing from a flat plate, after press molding and cutting, before antirust oil is applied, a short time heating process is performed at 260-350 deg.C in the air.
