PURPOSE:To manufacture an Al-alloy brazing sheet fin material excellent in dropping resistance, corrosion resistance, and brazing characteristic, by rolling an Al alloy consisting of Mn, Mg, Fe, Zn, Zr, and Al at a specific final cold draft. CONSTITUTION:In a brazing plate sheet consisting of, by weight, 0.8-1.5% Mn, 0.2-1.0% Mg, 0.01-0.4% Fe, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities and further containing, if necessary, 0.1-2.0% Zn and/or 0.01-0.2% Zr, the final cold rolling is carried out so that final cold draft R% of this sheet satisfies 30[1.0-(Mg+Fe)]<R<40<[1.0-3/4(Fe+Mg)]. In this way, the Al-alloy brazing sheet fin material for heat exchanger excellent in dropping resistance and strength at room temp. can be obtained. By using this fin material so as to prevent inferior brazing and thermal deformation, heat exchangers can be produced with high productivity in high yield. |
