1373990 Water heaters H B PETERI 6 Sept 1972 [8 Sept 1971] 41400/72 Heading F4A An instantaneous water heater for supplying small quantities of water at substantially 100‹ C. for the preparation of food and drinks comprises a thermally insulated vessel 5 of less than 10 litres capacity and capable of withstanding a pressure of no less than 6 atmospheres, a cold water inlet 3 substantially at the bottom of the vessel, a boiling water outlet 6 having a control valve 7, means for heating the entire water content of the vessel and a thermostat 11 capable of regulating the temperature at a predetermined level between 100‹ C. and 120‹ C. The water supply may be connected to means 21 filled with particles of activated carbon 22 to absorb unpleasant flavours in the water. |
