PURPOSE:To efficiently use a memory by temporarily storing input data, and storing it in a memory only when newly inputted data differs from it. CONSTITUTION:Since a gate 7 is inserted between a strobe signal 22 and a counter 1, the output of the counter 1 is not updated unless a signal from a gate 6 is added to the gate 7, and data signals 21 are sequentially overwritten in a same address. When the designation of the address is updated, the last signal 21 is held as effective data. A comparator 5 transmits the signal to the gate 6 only when the stored signal 21 and the newly inputted signal 21 disagree. When the same signals 21 sequentially occur, the signal 21 is stored in a register 4, and it is not outputted from the comparator 5. The output of the counter 1 cannot pass the gate 7, and the same signal 21 is written again in the same address of the memory 2. If the same signals occur, they do not proceed to other places, whereby the memory can efficiently be used.
