PURPOSE:To prepare uniformly cooked rice, by estimating the quantity of rice when the temperature of the rice reaches a level lower than boiling point, continuing the supply of a prescribed high electrical power according to the estimated quantity of rice and continuing the cooking process under decreased electrical power supply. CONSTITUTION:In the cooking of rice by supplying electrical power to rice- cooking heater, a prescribed high electrical power is supplied to the heater and the quantity of the rice is estimated when the temperature of the rice reaches a level lower than the boiling point. After the estimation of the quantity, the above prescribed high electrical power supply is continued for a period corresponding to the quantity of the rice and, thereafter, the electrical power supply to the cooking heater is decreased and the cooking is continued. A uniformly cooked delicious rice can be prepared because the estimation of the rice quantity is carried out in the course of cooking without decreasing the electrical power for cooking and the rice is boiled at a stroke without decreasing the electrical power supply after the estimation of the rice quantity. |
