PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of operating efficiency without adversely affecting the other related equipments, by driving an induction motor even upon overcurrent while reducing the torque of the same. CONSTITUTION:A control means 19 controls an inverter 2 so that a primary interlinkage flux vector and a momentary torque, detected by a flux detecting means 15 and a torque detecting means 18, are fluctuated within a predetermined range. An overcurrent signal outputting means 21 outputs an overcurrent signal, controlling the inverter 2 so as to reduce the momentary torque of an induction motor 1 when an overcurrent detecting means 20 detects the overcurrent of the induction motor 1, to the control means 19. |
