PURPOSE:To facilitate print by eliminating irregularity on a magnetic zone and to reduce the wear and the damage of a card, by providing a smoothing layer on the upper plane of a card substrate, providing the magnetic zone and a protecting zone on the upper plane of the smoothing layer, and performing the simultaneous print of the protecting zone and a bit of visual information. CONSTITUTION:Ink is coated at the prescribed position of the surface of a continuous card substrate 1, and the smoothing layer 11 is provided by a printer, and next, the magnetic zone 12 is provided by coating magnetic ink on the layer 11. And the bit of visual information 13 and the protecting zone 14 are provided, but, at this time, the zone 14 is formed by neighboring to the zone 12 and also with the same high as th zone 12. If the height of the zone 12 is larger than that of the zone 14, the overprint of the zone 14 is performed by using the next print step. Following that, a coating layer 15 is provided on the upper planes of the zones 12 and 14, and furthermore, an additional bit of visual information 16, if necessary, is provided on the upper plane of the layer 15 by using the ink with a different color tone. And the card can be obtained by cutting the card substrate in a prescribed size. In such way, it is possible to easily perform the print by eliminating the irregularity on the magnetic zone, and to reduce the wear and the damage of the magnetic zone.
