<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a moving device from stopping due to large displacement from an object stopping position by comparing the measured result of a distance between passed address setting members with distance data, and stopping the device in emergency when there is an error exceeding an allowable range. CONSTITUTION:When a moving device 1 starts traveling, a total traveling distance preset in a subtracting function is subtracted by the number of pulses from a pulse encoder 5 to output a remaining traveling distance. The measurement of the distance between address code plates 18 is continuously conducted by utilizing the pulse from the encoder 5 during the traveling of the device 1. The measured distance, i.e., the distance of the address zones where the device 1 has passed is compared with the distance of the same address zone stored in advance, and the device 1 is stopped in emergency when there is an error exceeding an allowable error range.</p> |
