PURPOSE:To enable drastic changes of oxygen-rich ratio and rapidly changing using ratio of fine powdered coal by functional use by arranging both hot blast tuyeres and oxygen tuyeres. CONSTITUTION:In a high oxygen-rich blasting blast furnace providing plural preheated gas blowing nozzle, plural hot blast tuyeres 2 for blasting the hot blast and plural oxygen tuyeres 3 for blowing oxygen, fine powdered coal and temp. adjusting agent in front of tuyeres are arranged on the furnace wall 1. For example, the different kinds of tuyeres 2, 3 are alternately set. By controlling gas quantity from two kinds of tuyeres 2, 3, the oxygen-rich ratio is changed. By this mechanism, changes in raw material blending, the variation of furnace condition, etc., can be rapidly coped with.
