<p>1313186 Conveying liquids; liquid fuel rockets MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG-NURNBERG A G 7 Oct 1970 [7 Oct 1969] 47729/70 Headings F1R and F1J A rocket has a system for conveying fuel 2 out of a container 1, the system comprising a further container 4 containing a liquified gas 7 and connected to the first container by a conduit 5 having a valve 6 and an outlet below the level of the liquid 2, which is at a temperature above the boiling point of the liquified gas 7, so that when the liquefied gas passes into the liquid it vaporizes, passes upwardly through the liquid and expels it through outlet 3. Alternatively, Fig. 2 (not shown) the outlet of the conduit 5 may be above the level of the liquid 2 and the liquified gas at or near its boiling point, so that on opening the valve 6 vapour from the container 4 enters the container 1 and expels liquid.</p> |
