PURPOSE:To improve the monitoring accuracy of an injection molding and to effect an appropriate treatment, by integrating the load pressure and the moving velocity of an injection screw at each changing stage in the controlling range, and comparing the values with the allowable range of the integrated value set in each stage. CONSTITUTION:A position detector 5 detects the position of an injection screw and monitors the moving velocity, and a differentiater 7 differentiates the output signal from an amplifier amplifying the voltage signal of the position detector 5 and convert it into a velocity signal. An abnormality treating device 17 is driven and controlled by means of a controller 12 where various molding conditions are set and input in advance by means of a setting apparatus 16. Namely, the load pressure generated at the time when the velocity of the injection screw is controlled is integrated at each velocity changing stage in the velocity controlling range, and the moving velocity of the injection screw at the time when the pressure is controlled is integrated at each pressure changing stage in the pressure controlling range. An integrated value obtained at each stage is compared with an allowable range of the integrated value set in each stage in advance, and if there exists a stage where it falls outside of the allowable range during a molding cycle, a signal of defective molding is out-put and the position of the stage is indicated on an indicter 19.
