PURPOSE:To control supply of lubricating oil through opening and closing of an exhaust control valve capable of detecting whether a turbocharger is in operation or not in a reliable manner, by restricting the quantity of lubricating oil supplied to a turning shaft of the turbocharger by a position detecting means for detecting opening and closing of said exhaust control valve. CONSTITUTION:A potentiometer 28 is attached to a turning shaft 12a of an exhaust changeover valve 12 which is disposed at a portion 3a where a second branch exhaust passage 11 is branched from a first branch passage 10. Opening and closing of a low-speed solenoid valve 26 and a high-speed solenoid valve 27 is controlled according to the output signal of the potentiometer 28. At the time of low-speed operation of an engine 1, the low-speed solenoid valve 26 is opened whereas the high-speed solenoid valve 27 is closed. Resultantly, lubricating oil is supplied only to a turning shaft 8c of a low-speed turbocharger 8. |
