PURPOSE:To enable the observation of a clear colored pattern from the reverse side of a glass substrate, by applying a resin film to a surface of a glass substrate using a resin dyeable with a sublimable dye, covering the surface with a transfer paper having a pattern printed with an ink containing a sublimable dye and hot-pressing the laminate. CONSTITUTION:A transfer-printed decorative glass plate 1 is produced by the following process. A surface of a glass substrate 2 is coated with a transmission layer 3 having adhesive affinity using at least one kind of resin dyeable with a sublimable dye and selected from acrylic resin, polyester resin, etc., their copolymer or mixture. The transmission layer 3 is covered with a shielding layer 4 to form a resin film 5 composed of both layers. A transfer paper 6 having a pattern 8 printed with an ink containing a sublimable dye is laminated to the surface of the resin film 5 and the laminate is hot-pressed. A clear colored pattern 9 can be observed from the reverse side of the glass substrate 2. |
