<p>PURPOSE:To prohibit the recording of a tape cassette only in a prescribed section, by mounting a memory device in a cabinet in which a tape is housed, and storing the recording device prohibited section information of the tape in the memory device. CONSTITUTION:For example, in the tape cassette constituted by housing the tape in the cabinet 2, the memory device 6 is mounted in the cabinet 2, and the recording prohibited section information of the tape is stored in the memory device 6. Thereby, it is possible to set arbitrarily the recording prohibited section based on the recording prohibited section information of the tape stored in the memory device 6. In such way, it is possible to prohibit the recording only in the prescribed section, and to use the tape cassette effectively.</p> |
