摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce mechanical fatigue of a sensor and a connecting part of the sensor and a sensor supporting body, by constructing the sensor so that the temperature thereof is increased gradually by heat conduction from an electrification heated substance and thereby extraneous matters deposited on the surface are burnt away. CONSTITUTION:The opposite ends of an axial rod 1 operating also as a electrification heated means are fitted to holding members 6 operating also as lead wires. Moreover, leading wires 4a of hot-wire resistances 4 wound on the opposite end parts of the axial rod 1 with an insulative coating layer 7 being interposed are connected to the ends on one side of electrodes 9 for hot wires fitted to the members 6 through the intermediary of insulating materials 8, while the ends on the other side of the electrodes are connected to a flow sensing circuit which measures the flow rate of air on the basis of changes in the resistance values of the resistances 4. Electrification is made periodically from a burning control means in the sensing circuit through the members 6, and the heat of the axial rod 1 heated thereby is conducted through a fixing agent 2 of glass, a bobbin 3 and glass coating 5 so as to raise the temperature of the resistances gradually, whereby extraneous matters deposited on the surface thereof are burnt away. Since the resistances 4 are heated gradually in this way, the mechanical fatigue of a sensor and a connecting part of the sensor and a sensor supporting body is reduced.</p>
