<p>PURPOSE:To easily write a program in high-level language by providing a programmable read-only memory and a writing means which writes program information in the programmable read-only memory attachably to and detachably from an external connection slot. CONSTITUTION:A socket 5 where an EPROM 4 is mounted detachably, a programmable peripheral interface 6, a D type flip-flop 7, regulator 8, a two- input OR gate 9, an inverter 10, an address decoder 11, etc., are mounted on a circuit board 3 arranged vertically in a cartridge case 2, and an input/output terminal 12 is provided to the lower end of the circuit board 3. Then, the cartridge is mounted in an external connection slot 15 of an MSX computer 14 detachably to connect its input/output terminal 12, and an MSX-BASIC program generated on the MSX computer 14 is stored in the EPROM 4. Consequently, the program in high-level language such as BASIC which is generated on the computer is easily written in the programmable read-only memory.</p> |
