PURPOSE:To enable image quality to be modified, by providing a means for modifying a parameter value for a filter used for a filtering process. CONSTITUTION:For example, when a 3X3 matrix filter is used, one of switches SWa-SWi is depressed, whereby the count on a corresponding counter Ca-Ci is circulated in the order of, for example, '0 6 0'. In this case, the counts on the counters Ca-Ci, set values in registers Ra-Ri and display values in segment display devices Da-Di are set as shown in the figure. Therefore, parameter values for the filter can be modified by updating the set values in the registers Ra-Ri by operating the switches SWa-WSi while looking at the display on the display devices Da-Di. |
