PURPOSE:To inexpensively treat a waste developer by a simple structure, by sucking the moisture of the waste developer from a container accumulating the waste developer by the capillary action of an evaporation medium having the large contact surface with the open air through a water absorbing means and further by generating an air stream by a fan. CONSTITUTION:The moisture in a waste developer discharged from a pipe 7 and accumulated in a container 8 is spread over the entire surface of the cloth 10 laid on the inclined floor surface 9 of a main body case 2 by capillary action and absorbed by the pad 11 arranged on the cloth 10 by capillary action. Further, the moisture is absorbed by the monowoven fabric 12, formed into a zigzag shape arranged on the pad 11, from the pad 11 to be spread over the entire surface of the nonwoven fabric 12. Since an air stream is generated in the main body case 2 by a fan 14, the moisture spread over the entire surface of the nonwoven fabric 12 is evaporated to be diffused from vent holes 4b. The waste developer 6 in the container 8 is gradually conc. or solidified through this process.
