PURPOSE:To obtain OKONOMIYAKI (Japanese-style pancake) having standardized quality and capable of readily cooking also at home, by putting fried vegetable, shrimp, etc., on a patty for OKONOMIYAKI, adding wheat flour dissolved in water thereto, baking, freezing and storing. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds selected from fried vegetable, raw meats of pig and cow, fried shrimp, fried squid put on a patty for OKONOMIYAKI (Japanese-style pancake) is placed on a steel plate. Then, wheat flour dissolved in water is added thereto and the OKONOMIYAKI is baked on the heated plate while turning it inside out. Then the baked OKONOMIYAKI is weighed, arranged on a freezing rack, quickly frozen at -70 deg.C, packed, canned and stored in a freezer. A patty obtained by dissolving wheat flour, etc., in water, making a disk-like dough, baking the one side of the dough on a steel plate heated at 150-180 deg.C till the color of the dough becomes light brown and storing the baked dough is preferably used as a patty for OKONOMIYAKI. |
