APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING DRIVING OF LIQUID CRYSTAL LIGHT SHUTTER

PURPOSE:To simplify the writing control of white dot data, by applying the blank data written on the non-printing region of a photosensitive body to one of the leading head or tail of the printing data of one line and driving a microshutter at every one line on the basis of said data. CONSTITUTION:The data of one line taken in a shift register 40 is converted to the driving signal of a liquid crystal light shutter 17 to open and close an indivisual microshutter 17a and successively shifted from the shift register 40 to a data latch 41 at every data of one line and operation such that the data of the next one line is taken in the shift register 40 is repeatedly performed. The left erasure dot of the liquid crystal light shutter 17 is effectively driven to an open state by the right erasure dot data before one line and the right erasure dot thereof is also driven to an open state by the right erasure dot data transmitted lately. By this method, blank data is written on the left and right non-printing regions of a photosensitive body 1 on the basis only of the right erasure dot data and circuit constitution can be simplified.
