PURPOSE:To securely convey even a curled sheet by temporarily stagnating a sheet on the lower course part of a circulatingly conveying passage for forming pictures on both sides of said sheet, and pressing said sheet by means of a pressing member provided on the upper course part. CONSTITUTION:A sheet S1 is guided to a pair of rollers 28 on a circulatingly conveying passage for carrying out copying on one side of the sheet S1 on the other side of which copying is carried out. When a sensor 32 detects the sheet S1, an arm 28c is rotated clockwise to open a conveying passage. The sheet S1 is brought into contact with a pair of rollers 29, which start normal rotation. As the rear end of the sheet S1 is parted from the arm 28c, the pair of rollers 29 are stopped and the arm 28c is rotated counterclockwise. The pair of rollers 29 are reversed causing the rear end of the sheet S1 to be retracted 50. When a second sheet S2 is detected, the arm 28c is rotated clockwise holding the sheet S1 against a guide plate 49 and the sheet S2 is advanced on the top of the sheet S1 up to the pair of rollers 29. And, then, the sheet S2 is reversed and, as a defined number of sheets are obtained by repeating this operation, the arm 28c pushes out sheets Si one by one. Thereby, sheets can be securely conveyed. |
