PURPOSE:To heat a heating surface to a temperature higher than the boiling point of the fuel to reduce adhesion of tar and stabilize the combustion of the device by a method wherein the supplying port of the fuel is provided in a clearance between a metallic porous body, covering the heating surface, and the heating surface. CONSTITUTION:The fuel is introduced from the supplying port 1 into a vessel 4 and is discharged from an opening 3 into the clearance between the foamed metal, laid on the whole surface of the bottom of the already heated vessel, and the heating surface to absorb the heat of the foamed metal as well as the bottom of the vessel and evaporate. At that time, even if the bottom of the vessel is heated to a temperature higher than Leidenfrost point, heat is transferred from the foamed metal to the fuel quickly, the film boiling phenomenon will never be caused in the fuel and the stable evaporation of the fuel may be effected. |
